Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Richard on Tuesday, March 7th, where he passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family. He fought so valiantly against melanoma for over 10 months, never complaining, always courageous and gracious. Anyone lucky enough to have known Richard would certainly agree that he was a man about simple pleasures. He provided a good life for his family, and always made himself available to anybody that could use a hand. He was generous, compassionate, clever, stubborn, funny, smart, talented, committed to his word, dependable, hard-working, and a remarkable and humbled spirit. He was full of love and pride for his family, his dogs, his work as an electrician, and his home. He loved to fish, boat, cut the grass and generally spend time with friends and loved-ones, particularly in his own backyard with BBQ and marshmallow-roasting over the fire pit. His spirit remains forever imprinted in the hearts of those who loved him! He leaves behind 4 siblings, a wife, 3 daughters, and 6 grandchildren, who all miss him dearly and who will never forgot what an incredible man he was.
