Rex Truebe

06/16/1953 — 06/14/1986

Mole was removed from Rex’s upper back in June ’82 and diagnosed as Stage III melanoma. All went well until August ’85 when he began having back pain and trouble walking. Tumor was found growing around his spinal cord causing partial paralysis. After two surgeries and some experimental treatment, Rex passed away on June 14, 1986, 2 days short of his 33rd birthday.

He has been sorely missed the last 22 years.
