My wonderful husband lost his courageous 13-month battle with this monster on July 31, 2010. He was 47 years young.

It started in a mole on the right side of his neck, and spread despite radical neck dissectomy, 6 months of high-dose bio/chemotherapy, several experimental treatments, and Gamma-Knife surgery for a brain metastasis.

He leaves behind 5 children, including a 3 1/2 year old daughter.

Please, PLEASE wear sunblock and pay attention to your moles. No one should have to endure the pain and suffering that he went through, not to mention the pain of his family.
