Dan’s 16-month battle with this unfamiliar disease has forever changed our family’s life, and as a family we are committed to working with AIM at Melanoma and Chicago-based SKIN OF STEEL to build a national melanoma tissue bank network to change future outcomes. Just 3 months shy of his 50th birthday, Dan left this world a more irreverent place, and his presence is felt at the most peculiar, hilarious, and sometimes inappropriate times. He is with us, bemused at the fact that we all ARE connected.
