An amazing young woman who fought melanoma with amazing dignity and poise. This photo was from last summer. She had great success with IL2 and soon after this photo, she went on Zelboraf, which worked for just 2 1/2 months. Zsuzsi passed away a few months ago, a month shy of her 34th birthday. She was a heavy user of tanning beds when younger and had no other genetic or environmental factors. She was happy to know shortly before she passed away that Governor Brown in California signed the first State law in the US banning tanning beds for those under 18. She wanted to reach young women specifically and encourage sunscreen use, no tanning beds, and getting their skin checked regularly . She is loved and missed by many.
