My grandmother was a fighter from the time that she found out she had skin cancer at the bottom of her foot. The one thing that she would tell us is that she wanted to live, and from the day she was diagnosed she fought for 5 years.

My grandmother loved her family and especially her six daughters. She had lots of love from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I especially loved her because she helped raise me. The other love of her life was my grandpa, who died of lung cancer. She loved watching the Houston Astros and cooking.

We love and miss her dearly.
