In September 2006 my father, Barry Roberts was diagnosed with melanoma. He battled through the disease for 3 years going through 7 surgeries, 1 year of interferon treatments, and a clinical trial before he sucommed to the disease. He had an incredible outlook. He was often asked to speak to others going through chemo treatments to help them see the possibilities. He believed that he would beat the melanoma.
He was a passionate man who loved his family, friends, and golf! He was a man of faith and believed that he would be at peace when he moved on. We are joyful in the knowledge that he is in heaven and no longer suffering.
My father is survived by his wife Mary Ann, 3 daughter’s Tanya, Michele, and Allison, 5 grandchildren Chelsea, Austin, Alexander, Nikolas, and Chase, all who love and miss him dearly. All of us along with his brother Garry and sisters Debbie and Dee live on to honor his memory and fight to find a cure for this disease. We thank all those that support us in raising money to fight melanoma.
We are so blessed to have had you in our lives. You will always be apart of each of us. Thank you for your love, strength, and friendship.
With All our Love,
Tanya (daughter) and Mary Ann (wife)
