Sun Safety for Everyone Under the Sun

A Gift of Protection and Style

Coolibar, a company that specializes in producing sun-protective clothing ranging from shorts to shirts to hats for casual wear and fitness activities, has generously donated a substantial collection of casual clothing to AIM. These items will be distributed at our walks, symposiums, and other community events.

AIM at Melanoma’s Mission

AIM at Melanoma Foundation is committed to supporting patients with melanoma, educating the public about sun safety, and funding critical research for a cure. Our partnership with Coolibar amplifies our mission, enabling us to extend our reach and impact.

National In-Kind Sponsorship for Steps Against Melanoma Walk

We also are proud to recognize that Coolibar is a national in-kind sponsor for AIM at Melanoma’s Steps Against Melanoma Walk program in 2024. This program is a cornerstone of our community outreach, raising awareness and funds for melanoma research and support. Coolibar’s involvement enhances the experience for participants, providing them with sun-protective clothing to wear during the walks. This sponsorship underscores Coolibar’s commitment to our mission and highlights the importance of sun safety in preventing melanoma.

A Partnership for a Brighter, Safer Future

Our collaboration with Coolibar is a testament to the power of partnerships in driving meaningful change. By combining our expertise and resources, we can make a significant impact on melanoma prevention and education. We are grateful for Coolibar’s support and look forward to a fruitful partnership that will benefit countless individuals.

“Our mission has always been to protect and inspire a sun-safe life for everyone under the sun. Our partnership with the AIM at Melanoma Foundation is a natural extension of this commitment,” said Robert Burns, PR Manager for Coolibar. By donating these UPF 50+ pieces, we hope to empower individuals to embrace the outdoors safely, knowing they are shielded from harmful UV rays. We can collaboratively take meaningful steps towards a future where sun protection is a priority for all.”
