Steve had a mole between his toes for years, of which I was not aware. He gave it no thought. While stationed in Korea with the Air Force, he discovered a lump in his groin. He was medevaced to the states and had two toes and lymph nodes removed. He did all he could to live, including medical trials, which were very difficult. He lived only 14 months after his first surgery.
He was a great guy, and I miss him every day.
