Kim’s battle began in March 1989 with melanoma. She lost her battle September 10, 1991, at the age of 25. Kim fought incredibly hard doing things no other person in her position could have done, such as continuing to go to college and work while battling.
Kim was my older sister, and I will always look to her for guidance and support in my life. I see her personality in my daughters; my oldest carries her name. She was exceptional, and I miss her so much. She is my hero and our guardian angel!
