My mom struggled after the death of my father in 2007, that same year she was diagnosed with Stage III melanoma. After 2 years of constant testing, dark spots were seen on her CT scan, and she was told that she would only have 6 months to live. She lived almost 2 years after. Her last year was very hard for her and me. Now she has moved on, and I am here, still struggling with the lost of my mother.
